“ We parked at the forestry England car park and visited this beautiful independent cafe, staff were very helpful. We had 2 x full English breakfasts and two coffees. The breakfast was fresh and the coffees were excellent. All clearly fresh food and locally obtained. Would highly recommend ”
“ It's really nice to be in an open, airy, well staffed cafe with good drinks and food. The service is swift and friendly. We were here on a beautiful sunny day and the forest was packed and they still kept up with demand and running smoothly. An excellent cafe all round. ”
“ Great fast friendly service. Lots of smiles and willingness to look after us. Very dog friendly at one end dog free at the other. Great for everyone so very relaxed for us dog owners as we were not worried about those who don't want dogs round them. Win win all round. The tuna and the mozzarella toasties were excellent. As were the chips. ”
“ The food here is really good for a quick lunch spot. We had the fish finger sarnie, teriyaki burger (vegan) and a pesto mozzarella tomato melt - all were really tasty! The staff are also really friendly too! ”
“ We had lunch after completing the sculpture trail. We chose the BLT and Chicken Stack. They were made fresh, prepared by Howie and were excellent!! Highly recommended! ”
“ Lovely decorated cafe with comfortable chairs, and spacious layout. Staff all friendly but service at the till a little slow. Menu looks really good, I could have chosen 10 things on there to eat, all reasonably priced too. Food came out in good time and was tasty. Dog friendly cafe which is ideal for the location. We enjoyed hot drinks before the walk & a burger with a slice of cake after. ”
“ A high-quality full English and a great-looking sandwich menu. The cafe is clean, spacious and modern. The only downside is having to pay for parking if you're not a Forestry England member. ”
“ Lovely place. Great service. Gorgeous food. Professional staff. Exceptional location - lots of nature to see and enjoy whilst having a coffee and some food ”
